A Brief History of Varallo International

In 1995, Vince Varallo founded Varallo International (VI), a consulting firm specializing in public speaking, intercultural communication, and business writing. With extensive experience in servicing large corporations, Vince helped the firm take off with clients such as AT&T, Hoffman La-Roche, and Citigroup.

Throughout the years, VI has served multicultural audiences and worked with international professionals who need strong communication skills to help advance in their organizations.

Carmela O’Flaherty joined the practice in 1997 and now serves as a senior-level consultant.

The VI client list continues to grow, and a talented core of consultants provides innovative programing, precise coaching, and specialized consulting to help companies enhance the communication skills of its population. Current clients include EY, Prudential, BASF, KPMG, Fidelis Care of NY, and the U.S. Government.

Vince, himself, delivers many of the public speaking and intercultural workshops that motivate participants to learn. He is an extraordinary facilitator.

In 2017, Vince, along with colleagues Joerg Schmitz and Stephan Mardyks, published Leading in English: How to Confidently Communicate and Inspire others in the International Workplace.  Vince also serves as a managing partner in his new business venture–Lead in English–with Thomas Leland, a top-level diversity and inclusion consulting firm.

A hallmark of a VI has been client retention. VI distinguishes itself as a unique consulting firm focused on the participants and their skill development. Such a focus helps clients improve their core communication and increase profitability.
