Kristin Reeves, a communications specialist, began with Varallo International (VI) in 2008. Each year, she joins Carmela and Vince to facilitate a KPMG program for international professionals on rotation in the U.S. Further, She further joined VI’s Prudential team to train international professionals in Business Communication Essentials. She also teaches at Bergen Community College and has a broad range of experiences, which brings a unique element to the VI team.

In addition to her consulting, Kristin is an actor in the performing arts. She works on stage, in films, on television, and on the radio. She has also directed several productions. In addition, Kristin continues to perform in feature films as a voice-over actor and is a member of the Screen Actors Guild.

Her flexibility as an actor has honed her skills in communication arts. While acting is her passion, teaching is her calling. Kristin has designed and delivered courses such as Interpersonal Communication, Public Speaking and Introduction to the Theatre. In her communication courses, she helps participants become smooth, fluent and confident communicators. Further, she is certified to train Monroe’s Motivated Sequence for sales presentations. Her participants learn to deliver impactful messages, which leave a lasting impression.

As early as 2005, Kristin has been creating on-line communication skills courses. Participants learn to be crisp and clear in their communication, and they can go on-line to learn any time that is convenient for them. Kristin tracks their progress and coaches them when necessary.

When working one-on-one, she tailors her approach to meet the needs of the individual. Participants value her ability to upgrade their specific skills to become dynamic communicators. Current clients include a radio sports caster and an up and coming teenage musician. Using her theatre and articulation skills, she focuses on performance communication, which yields positive results. The formula is powerful.

Kristin has taught accent reduction, cultural orientation, and communication skills. She is fluent in the International Phonetic Alphabet (IPA). Kristin holds a BFA in performing arts from the United States International University, and an MFA from Wayne State University, where she was awarded both full scholarship and fellowship.

She is a member of the adjunct teaching faculty at both Bergen Community College (BCC) and William Paterson University (WPU).
